While food isn’t always considered one of the most important aspects of the event, to us, it is as important as the choice of venue. As such, our caterer is an integral part of our team. Long after the wedding day, couples and guests come back to the farm to say that it was the most memorable wedding dinner they have ever experienced. Unparalleled hospitality is our hallmark.
Our truly phenomenal chef is Ginger Power of Cultivate Catering. An experienced chef de cuisine, trained in Napa Valley and schooled in hospitality at the famous Deer Valley Lodge in Utah, she specializes in fresh, hyper- seasonal, local, organic, elegant food served family-style in courses. Coming from California many years ago, she brought that concept with her, inspired by Alice Waters of Chez Panisse and Thomas Keller of The French Laundry. In fact, our current cider maker was the sommelier at The French Laundry and one of our favorite local bakers was the pastry chef at Chez Panisse.
Experienced bartenders and wait staff schooled in the various wines, cider and beers being served, make your guests feel as though they are in an exceptional restaurant or the host’s home. The alcohol is your choice and our job is to highlight it. As guests move from the ceremony garden to the Pond Bar, servers are there to greet them with cocktails, appetizers, wine, beer, champagne and cider, maximizing social time and eliminating lines at the bar.
Dinner in The Apple House is a perfect setting for connecting with family and friends circled around the elegantly set tables. All of the necessary infrastructure is provided by the farm and we will implement your individual vision. Chef Power’s beautiful food and extraordinary staff make for a reception to remember always.
